I began my journey in the health and wellness industries as a strength coach and nutritional consultant.
Over the following years I was privileged to work with many elite level athletes including Olympic medalists and world champions and I was also able to help many with chronic illnesses to begin to improve their health.
In 2001 I was diagnosed with Crohn's Disease and this lead me to re-evaluate what 'health' really meant to me. I had planned on further study in Psychology but instead chose to study Naturopathic medicine to give me the opportunity to work with my clients on a more holistic level.
In 2006 I took an extended break from clinical practice and spent a year travelling and eventually writing my first book "Choosing You!" in one of my favourite places ~ the barrio of San Telmo in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
A year later I moved to Vancouver, Canada and took a position as Vice President of a leading Strength and Conditioning company and also worked in private practice and consulting to organisations in North America on the topics of holistic health and performance nutrition.
While in North America I was able to work with and learn from many amazing healers and practitioners and integrate mind-body and spiritual aspects into my naturopathic practice. These tools allowed me to help people at an even deeper level.
I am now based on Auckland's North Shore in New Zealand and travel regularly to speak and consult in North America.
